Laurus
Laurus S. à r.l. was a joint venture between Northern Horizon Capital and Partners Group, a global private markets investment manager.
The investment scope was to develop and manage a property portfolio in the Baltic States and in Gdansk, Poland. The aim was to maximize the total return to its investors over the medium term through active asset management of its initial investment portfolio.
In 2015, the fund acquired its initial portfolio and subsequently an add-on investment was made in 2016, by acquiring the Baltic headquarters of SEB as well as a larger number of other smaller commercial properties.
Laurus’ single investment in Gdansk was a landmark urban regeneration project on the city-center waterfront location, in the historic shipyards of the City of Gdansk.
All properties in the portfolio were taken through extensive asset management measures and in 2020, the fund was exited successfully through individual property disposals.
